About Us

The Mobile Basketball Officials Association was formed to provide officials with the skills and support to enhance the game of basketball throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties. There are dozens of officials in the MBOA who are certified by the Alabama High School Athletics Association (AHSAA) and who will be scheduled for games at various schools during this year's basketball season. The classification of the schools within the MBOA service area range from 1A to 7A, and the majority of the schools have full varsity, junior varsity and freshman programs for both boys and girls basketball.

The MBOA services schools located in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.

The MBOA is proud of its members and alumni, who have obtained an outstanding list  of officiating accomplishments, with the most recent being 12 inducted into the Inaugural Class of the Alabama Sports Officials Hall of Fame. We look forward to welcoming you to join us as we continue our journey towards success.
